Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Mississippi
Since 1936, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Mississippi has been in the forefront of youth development working with young people from disadvantaged economic, social and family circumstances. The Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Mississippi has actively sought to enrich the lives of girls and boys whom other youth agencies failed to reach and is dedicated to ensuring that our community's at-risk youngsters have greater access to quality programs and services that will enhance their lives and shape their futures.
Alumni of the Phoenix Club of Memphis have moved away and planted similar organizations in their new cities.
28% of Boys and Girls Club Alumni report that they would have dropped out of high school if not for their club.
Another 51% achieved a higher level of education than they thought
possible because of attending their club.
